Not long ago my 1991 Toyota pickup needed a tuneup, and as I neared AutoMend in San Jose, CA, it began to act up, As I arrived at the shop, it began to emit smoke under the hood and muffler. Wow, I had no idea what was wrong. Quickly, Toto and Khalil began to assess what needed to be done, followed up with a call with details of how they and Patricio (Automend's most excellent mechanic) would address the head gasket issues.
Later, Toto gave me a progress report. Afterward, Khalil's called upon completion. Both calls explanatory and detailed.
I had no idea how pleased l would be with the results. Before making my payment, Toto and Khalil reviewed service, labor and displayed replaced parts, graciously acknowledged Patricio's expert work. Before leaving the shop, I looked under the hood and noted a spotless engine. Additionally, the truck, tires, bumpers and the camper shell had been washed. I thanked the entire AutoMend Team and drove away smiling.
Today I am still smiling and grateful, as I am very pleased with my truck's performance and looks.
